This Privacy Policy applies to your use of (the “Website”). It tells you (the customer) what to expect when we collect personally identifiable information about you, and what your rights are concerning the collection of your information. It is provided in accordance with our obligations under the Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), the Child Safeguarding Standards Guide and the Minimum Standards for Child Protection in Humanitarian Action (CPMS), Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA), keeping into account the provisions of the European Regulation on Protection of Personal Data.


In this Privacy Policy, references to “we” or “us” are to API ITALY S.R.L., a Company duly registered under the laws of Italy, with its registered number BS – 596977, and having its registered address at GAVARDO (BS) VIA JOHN QUARENA 145, P.O. Box 25085, Italy.


When you register on the Website, when you create and update your account, and when you purchase Online Courses on the Website, we and third parties working with us will collect the following information:

  • Name, email address, age (required)
  • Home address, date of birth, telephone number, country of nationality (required for certain courses)
  • Other personal data if you choose to register for an account via third party sites including Facebook and Google, and have provided your personal information on those platforms
  • Data relating to your use of our Website and enrolment on Online Courses
  • Information provided by you when you correspond with us (including via surveys)

When you access the Website we may use cookies to track, collect, and aggregate information about your use of the Website, including pages you have visited, the specific URLs that brought you to our Website, and links embedded on our Website that you have accessed. Your information, which is provided voluntarily, is used to provide you with services, to analyze queries, questions and complaints in order to provide the necessary technical support and to inform you about promotions, special offers and gifts from the Company.

We take seriously our legal obligation to protect the privacy of children. Accordingly, we do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from persons under 18 years of age, and no part of the Website is directed to persons under 18 years of age. If you are under 18 years of age, then please do not use or access the Website at any time or in any manner. We will take appropriate steps to delete any personal information of persons less than 18 years of age.

In these cases, a transfer of data to the social media operators mentioned only takes place if the corresponding icon (e.g. the “f” of Facebook, the bird symbol of Twitter, the “g+” symbol of Google Plus) is clicked. If you click on one of these icons, a page of the corresponding social media operator opens in a popup window, which means, that we are no longer responsible for the collection of your personal information and its’ safety on those websites.


Your personal data can be retained for the whole duration of our relationship and, in compliance with the applicable privacy laws, for 10 years from the termination of the agreement or, in case of disputes, for the statute of limitations set forth under the applicable laws, without prejudice to any longer storage periods provided for by specific laws.
If you wish to delete your personal data sooner, than it’s mentioned above, you shall write an e-mail to our support group and ask to remove everything you want to be removed.
